Powerthirst

What is this video making fun of? What parts of it are exaggerated to further prove the filmmaker's point?

this video is poking fun at the energy drinks of today and at the people that normally drink them. With ingredients that have effects that are unknown to the average dietitian and with some of the ingredients themselves to the same accord. Most drinks today are choked full of the newest stuff that sounds great looks great and on top of that the bottle looks like something out of some cool action film "venom, NoS, Rockstar, Full Throttle" each one and more are all advertised to make it seem like without them you cant do anything good. The video uses humor to force a point across to you that you wont even realize till after you get down from the adrenaline high and once you do realize it you feel like an idiot for even looking in the first place. now transfer that over towards energy drinks. they sound great, make you feel great, make you stand at the top of the mountain. till you crash and burn back down to the bottom of the hill of fire ants you were standing on.

Im really craving some powerthirst right now! haha anyways...

This video is making fun of the way energy drink companies sell their products. They come up with crazy names like "powerthirst, monster and rockstar" to make their drinks sound tough and intense- which is exactly what many men want to be portrayed as. Energy drink commercials, like the fake one in this video, try to focus their audience to men. They use tough voices and sports to convince men to drink their product. In the video they show this element by repeating "SPORTS, KENYANS, and ABNORMALLY FAST" to convince men to drink their product so they can excel in sports. In this video they also mention how science and electrolytes make this drink legit and good for you but they are very vague in their arguement- which is what the video is making fun of.

This video is making fun of energy drink companies that over exaggerate their products to sell more of them. The filmmaker uses words like abnormally fast, and images of overly muscular men to make people believe that this product will make them like that.
