The news can be very biased.
Today a group presented, there movie was Control Room and they really opened my eyes because most of the time the news is very bias and it only tells us when American soldiers are killed and wounded. What is the artist saying and what rhetorical devices are used?

hmmm.....
hmmm... to buckle or not to buckle? this ad sure makes me want to buckle up. i mean really, if you think about your car more as a catapult and less as a shield then you might consider that you want to buckle up. i know that technichally "big attention-getting things" arent standard rhetor and logic, but it sure draws quite an audience. this was a great way to get someone thinking along the same lines as you, if you have a big idea and show it. especially if its interesting. like this.

What You Really Get
Above is a chart that contains the two presidential candidates’ stands on different issues. Note that is does not contain the names of the candidates, or their political party, age, race, none of that. What rhetorical ideas are in this unusual display of information? Is it a good idea to have an election that the public only receives opinions and ideas of a candidate with out knowing who they actually are until the inauguration? SNL (problems with the economy)
Ok, ok, I know that I posted a video from SNL last time but I was cracking up so hard that I had to post this one. As Oscar Rogers said about the economic we need to “FIX IT!!”. Do YOU agree?
